Wiz Animation Studio
Finally the day, we all had been waiting since long, 30th June 2012 Saturday, arrived. The Excitement and nervousness were both surrounding at every min and seconds. Our main target was to atleast give the Launch a better outlook. The event had to start around 4 pm. and We made all arrangements to start at the right time. Though time doesn’t stand by our side when such events happen.
The First one to join us was SAID (Society of Animation for Delhi) A great organization working every second for the upliftment of animation and animators towards the country. 7 members confirmed to join us. However, Five made it - Mr Madan Pania (President of SAID), Mr Subhash Sidhu, Deepak Arora, Lakshaman Bisht and Vipul Dinodia. They also shared some pics of their travelling from Delhi to Aligarh
They Reached us at around 3:15 and we were already to welcome them. We had some share pics with them on their Arrival.
We gave them some time to rest and recover from the heat. The hotness from sun set the environment on fire. But we were lucky that Electricity was by our side, as the elections were about to start in the City.
I never had thought about having a Pooja but when our parents want it, We should abide by them as they feel it would bring luck and success. I just requested my mother If the Pooja could be completed in 20 minutes as some of our guests had already excused to leave after an hour because of some Important Work.
Finally the pooja started. Luckily, SAID (Society of Animation for Delhi) members were to join us in the pooja.
After The Pooja, The Event was started by Me (Varun Mehta - Founder of Wiz Studio). By the pooja ended, we had already Mr Pradeep Gupta from Arena Animation joining us.
Phase 1 - Journey of Varun Mehta Productions of seven years.
I started phase 1 of the event by explaining how Varun Mehta Productions was born. How Animation and Film making excited me since a very young age. How I used to experiment with stories working with little kids, and making animated shorts. My Breakthrough were my three award winning shorts - Crystal Ball, Save Trees and The Unknown World that gave birth to ‘Wiz Studios’ Today.
I Took the Attention towards the projector Showcasing ‘Varun Mehta Productions’ Reel. It will be shortly uploaded on YouTube.
After this We hit for the II phase of our Event which was to have a word with our Guests over the Launch of Wiz and Animation Industry. They were also asked to share their experiences.
Mr Madan Pania, President of SAID was the first one to give us his valuable Inputs
Then followed were some few Important words by Mr Pradeep Gupta from Arena Animation
Mr Subhash Siddhu, an Important Member of SAID and an Animation Genius shared his experiences and some Amazing things.
After this, Everybody from our guests shared few words….(pics will be posted soon)
AFTER PHASE II - We went for a break having some snacks and tea. it took around 40 minutes where we still continued talking about animation and animation only.
PHASE III was a complete Interactive session, Where we all decided to have few words over the animation and its awareness, struggle, infrastructure, plans, exploring new possibilities that can strengthen its base in the country which is required now.
Phase 4 was the last part of our event Where we all came together for a cake cut celebration wishing for its success and progress in future.

And after the Cake Cut celebrations, The event ended with a grand feast.
The Launch Became Special for us mainly because of three reasons.
*Solidarity towards Animation - SAID came to join us from Delhi to show the support even in the most crackling heat.
* A Studio is one of its own in the entire city.
* We could not launch Varun Mehta Productions as It was just a thought, But a thought became enough successful for seven years and finally revamped as ‘Wiz’
We thank everybody from the bottom of our heart, whoever joined us in the event. We will soon have more events where hopefully we will again meet and greet with a BANG !
